School Lunches

Dear Parents/Guardians/Sponsors, 

Please be advised that SEC does not provide a catering option as we do not have the kitchen facilities in order to accommodate and monitor this. We provide a morning fruit snack only.  The children are expected to bring a packed lunch and water bottle to school or families are expected to make alternative arrangements.

Some of our families choose to order from ‘Maria’.  She is an independent entity that parents use to provide a cooked lunch option, she takes the orders and delivers the lunches to school.   SEC takes no responsibility or management on how the meals are prepared, ingredients used and general safety and hygiene.  

From our new school year 2021/2022 we are no longer taking lunch orders on behalf of Maria and will not be involved in passing on payments.

You can still use this option but you will need to make the orders and pay Maria directly.  If you wish for your child to eat regular lunches every day or set days you can send your pre-set order to Maria and make it a permanent order.

Alternatively, if you only wish to purchase a hot meal on the odd day please ensure your order is received by 9am latest (on the day) to ensure Maria has enough time to prepare.  You can make your order(s) using the information below and payments can be made via Eazy Pesa or can still be made in cash but please ensure to send your child to school with the correct amount to give Maria directly or she will be available once a week at school (Friday afternoon) in order to collect payments.
